Our Journey

  • 2014

    Proximity was conceived in 2014, over a few Old Fashioneds.

  • 2015

    The MVP solution launched in 2015 with MATCHESFASHION as our first customer. More customers quickly followed, including David Jones Pty, John Lewis Partnership, and MCM Worldwide.

  • 2018

    In 2018, our London headquarters opened its doors.

    The business relaunched as a dedicated SaaS product company.

    Our executive team started to grow with experienced members from the likes of Salesforce, Burberry, Deloitte, and Microsoft.

  • 2023

    Proximity is now the #1 clienteling app in Salesforce.

    Our customer base spans 30+ countries and retains all our early adopters.

    We have expanded our feature set and aim to become the #1 digital retail platform.
